- White vinegar
- Paper Towels
- Sponge or plain cloth
- Empty spray bottle
- Detergent (if needed)
Steps First, you need to prevent the pet stain from spreading or worsening. Take a paper towel and collect all the faeces of your pet on the carpet. Make sure you remove all the staining debris. For urine stains, you can dab the stain to absorb all the fluids and prevent them from spreading.
Now sprinkle some amount of salt on the pet stain on the carpet. Dilute white vinegar with warm water and both should be taken in equal parts. Pour this diluted vinegar into an empty spray bottle.
Spray the vinegar solution on the pet stain present on the carpet. Make sure you cover the stain and saturate it with vinegar completely. Salt along with vinegar will take care of pet stain removal and carpet sanitisation. Let vinegar stay on the carpet for an hour.
Now clean the stained patch with a plain wet cloth. You can also use detergent, rinse a cloth in detergent and use it to clean the stain again and again.

- Baking soda powder
- Salt (optional)
- Any essential oil ( clove oil)
- Brush or Vacuum cleaner
Use baking soda for carpet deodorisation and carpet odour removal. Baking soda can absorb odours and kill odour causing bacteria. Along with salt and essential oil, baking soda can eradicate all the nasty odours and deliver urine odour removal.
Start by preparing a thick paste of baking soda with water. Add some amount of salt and any essential oil to this paste. Add 2 or 3 drops of clove oil to this paste and make sure there are no lumps.
First, sprinkle enough amount of only baking soda powder on the cleaned pet stain on the carpet. Cover the clean stain with baking soda powder and let it rest.
Now apply the thick paste of baking soda over to the clean stained patch. Cover the stained patch and other affected areas of the carpet with baking soda paste., let it rest and dry for an hour.
When soda pasting has dried, you can use any brush to get rid of soda chunks left on the carpet. Vacuum clean the carpet thoroughly and get rid of all debris and soda powder. You will smell the carpet and observe all the odours have vanished.
