This certification covers the basics of routing and switching. All the basic protocols of the TCP / IP model will be learned, such as IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, dynamic routing, static routing, and the main layer 2 protocols, such as VLANs, Spanning-Tree and others, will also be studied. Cisco CCNP Routing & Switching This certification is the second level of the previous CCNA. With this certification, you will gain the ability to plan, verify, and troubleshoot business networks, as well as being able to work with specialists in advanced security, voice, wireless, and video solutions. It is one of the most important certifications for companies and for any network administrator. This certification is appropriate for those who have at least 1 year of networking experience.
It currently consists of 3 exams: 300-101 ROUTE, 300-115 SWITCH and 300-135 TSHOOT. But starting in February 2020 this will change, and the new certification will be the Cisco CCNP Enterprise.
