The Role As an Network Operations Engineer

As a Network Operations Engineer, you will be part of an international team that monitors and maintains more than 14,000 servers, and 250 network devices located in more than 8 data centers worldwide. NOC Engineers troubleshoot and resolve routine and complex network, hardware, and OS issues in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a 99.99% uptime rate for all systems.
Your day-to-day Monitor internal and production systems and escalating/paging level two engineers. Work trouble tickets effectively and efficiently and engage Engineering, Support, QA, and other personnel in accordance with established processes and procedures. Document problem descriptions and provide detailed problem diagnosis with accuracy and in compliance with established practices. Review and update the status of problems in trouble-ticketing system. Assist in maintaining Operations documentation including support guides, knowledge base articles, and procedures. Participate in the transfer of information from one shift to the next.
